Why this comic? Why now?
The tools we show here aren’t just nice ideas. They’ve been tested, peer-reviewed, and published—in journals like AER, PNAS or Econometrica (yes, that’s a thing).
And because hardly anyone outside academia reads them (fair), we turned them into something different: visual storytelling, pencil-drawn and backed by hard data.
This comic is a love letter to research—and a counter-narrative to the loud voices who spread myths about merit, diversity, and fairness.
Just because you repeat something doesn’t make it true. Data helps. It has been proven that diversity contributes to growth, promotes innovation and increases output – if implemented wisely. You just have to know how. But that’s why people do research. And we’ll tell you about it.
